This fall, 3,822 faculty and staff gave to the Vanderbilt’s Community Giving Campaign and raised more than $900,000.
“In these challenging economic times, employees across the University and Medical Center reached out to our local neighbors and once again showed our caring commitment to those in need,” said co-chairs David and Gail Carr Williams. Gail is associate director with the Office of Community, Neighborhood and Government Relations and David is vice chancellor for University Affairs and Athletics.
Gifts to Vanderbilt’s Community Giving Campaign benefit four federations and the agencies they represent:
* Community Shares
* Community Health Charities
* Nashville Alliance for Public Education and
* United Way of Metropolitan Nashville
