NASHVILLE, Tenn. – More than 300 students who were selected to perform in the first-ever “Keep the Music Playing” All-Star Holiday Concert at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center in December 2009 received special recognition from the CMA and the Nashville Alliance at their Spring Concerts. Music students from nine Metro schools were recognized with “All-Star” certificates from the CMA honoring them for their exceptional music talent and their performance at the concert. At the All-Star concert, Kellie Pickler presented a generous check for the “Keep the Music Playing” program to the Nashville Alliance and encouraged the students to continue to work hard and follow their dreams.
